Spring 2022: Animal Behavior and the Endocrine System
This course was conducted during Spring 2022 at Columbia University, 10 students, met M/W for 75 minutes.
"wonderful. the most relatable, knowledgable, and approachable teacher/instructor I've had in college. She clearly teaches with passion and it made the experience all the better."
"Professor Siller was extremely supportive and accessible. I am fortunate to have been in her class. She was passionate about the topics and was equally interested in our contributions. It was a
pleasure to be in her class."
"She was a great professor. She really cared about the material and brought in her own research and work of her peers into the classroom which made it feel less like a lecture and more of a discussion of the current state of the field and information we have. She cared about her students and tried to tailor the class to our particular interests. The lectures were really well organized and clear, and it was obvious she put a lot of effort into them. Discussions of the papers we read were also really interesting."

Spring 2019: Principles of Animal Behavior
This course was conducted during Spring 2019 at Columbia University, 8 students, met W for 110 minutes.
“Very helpful and kind. Stefanie always made herself available to the students and guided us through the material.”
“Stefanie was an excellent teaching assistant who gave very helpful feedback. She was clear and concise and knew which sections to spend more time on so the entire class was on the same page. She knows how to read a room and how to help students along without giving them the answer nor being too vague.”

Fall 2018: Environmental Biology I
This course was conducted during Fall 2018 at Columbia University, 28 students, met T/Th for 75 minutes.
“AWESOME! KNOWS HER STUFF! GREAT RECITATION LEADER! ALWAYS PREPARED, ALWAYS KNOWS HOW TO EXPLAIN THINGS IN A CLEAR WAY”
“I thought Stefanie was a great TA! The class she taught was excellent–I walked out feeling like I didn’t have nearly as much outside studying to do as I normally would because she was so effective at teaching the material. She was also always super helpful when I had questions via email or in person”
“Stefanie was amazing. I would ask the randomest questions and she would have the answer! And when she didn’t, Stefanie would actually follow up after class with a quick email with the answer she found. I felt very comfortable approaching Stefanie for help and although her section was on Monday mornings, I managed to drag myself to section because they were so incredibly useful.”
